Hi

Ok, these books are taking up to much space on my blog, so I decided to give them their very own place. The new blog will have everything to do with books on it. Click here to go to it.

Song of the Lioness books by Tamora Pierce

(click the title to see the official synopsis for the book)
Song of the Lioness is a quartet about a young girl named Alanna, who has bright violet eyes and red hair. Her father wants to send her to a convent to become a lady, but she DOES NOT want to go. She wants to become the first lady knight there has been in a century. Instead, her twin brother Thom is going to be a knight -- and he hates the thought. He wants to be the greatest sorcerer of all time - and he could probably do it too.
"From now on I'm Alan of Trebond, the younger twin. I'll be a knight."
In a time when girls are forbidden to be warriors, Alanna of Trebond wants nothing more than to be knight of the realm of Tortall. So she finds a way to switch places with her brother, Thom. Disguised as a boy, Alanna begins her training as a page at the palace of King Roald, disguised as Alan. The road to knighthood, as she discovers, is not an easy one. Alanna must master weapons, combat, magic -- and also polite behavior, her temper, and even her own heart. With stubbornness, skill, and daring, she wins the admiration of all around her, and the friendship of Prince Jonathan of Tortall himself. But she also makes an enemy of the prince's uncle, one of the powerful sorcerers alive and also charming Duke Roger....
Filled with swords and sorcery, adventure and intrigue, good and evil, Alanna's first adventure begins -- one that will hopefully lead to the fulfillment of her dreams and the magical destiny that will make her a legend in her land.

books-YAY!

I love books. I'll read anything. Harry Potter,Lord of the Rings, The Giver, you name, and I'll probably want to read it. Yesterday I went and spent my 15$ giftcard to Barnes and Nobles(sorry I think i accidentally said ten last time) along with four dollars from another friend to get two books. The first one is called The Warrior Heir. It's about a sixteen year old boy named Jack. Jack has to take medicine every morning because of a heart surgery he had at birth. When his aunt Linda comes to visit, things get intresting, and Jack discovers he is a member of the five guilds, magical groups living among anaweirs, or non-guild members. It's really good. The other book I got is the third in a series called The Ranger's Apprentice. It's about a young boy named Will. He's the apprentice to Halt, a very well known, very good ranger. It's a really good book, but out of the three I've read, the first was the best. I haven't gotten the fourth one yet though. They are really good books!

Birthday Party

Yippee! My birthday is coming up this July! I am planning my birthday party for some of my friends and I for this Friday. It should be fun! So far C.W., L.M. and E.O. have said they can come. B.A. isn't sure, but she thinks she can. I'm going to have a sleepover. I am going to be babysitting earlier the same day, and that money is going towards buying treats and renting a movie for the party! I can't wait! the 5 of us won't fit anywhere inside my house, so we are going to park the trailer in our front yard and sleep out there. Should be fun, but I need ideas for games for a bunch of girls! PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

New Blogger

Hi! I'm sorry i haven't posted in so long. Just lettin' you know that my brother finally got a blog. To get to it click here.
Here's a cool pic, by the way. Those of you that read manga, a.k.a. graphic novels, this is from the book Naruto by Masashi Kishimoto. It is a picture of Kakashi Sensei, Naruto's teacher, using the Kage Bunshin No Jutsu, or the Shadow Clone Technique.
